As an admin in Medallion, you can organize providers into Teams, customizable groups that can be defined by various attributes. You can manually add providers to a team or set rules for which types of providers are automatically added to a particular team. You can view team information for providers in various areas of the Medallion system, and you can filter and export data by team. Admins can manage teams comprehensively, with permissions to create, edit, and delete teams, and assign users and providers to specific teams. Learn more about creating and managing teams here.
You can also designate internal staff members as team managers or viewers, allowing them view and/or edit access to their assigned teams and the Teams Management UI according to the following rules: Additionally, Admins have organization-wide access to manage all teams and assign roles, while Auditors, with read-only permissions, can monitor teams without the ability to edit them.
About Team manager roles
Team Manager
Can view, edit, and request services on behalf of providers within their assigned teams. Team managers can access the Teams Management UI to view the teams they manage, but cannot create, edit, or delete teams.
Team Viewer
Can view provider data and leave notes for providers within their assigned teams. Team viewers do not have access to the Teams Management UI.
Notifications
Both team managers and team viewers receive platform notifications and emails only for the providers on their assigned teams.
Admins
Have full access to the Teams Management UI — they can create, view, edit, and delete all teams, and are responsible for assigning manager and viewer roles within each team.
