Teams Management overview

Medallion's Teams feature makes it easy for admins to organize their providers and manage their administrative teams.

Updated over 2 months ago

As an admin in Medallion, you can use organize providers into "teams," customizable groups that can be defined by various attributes. You can manually add providers to a team or set rules for which types of providers are automatically added to a particular team. You can view team information for providers in various areas of the Medallion system, and you can filter and export data by team. Admins can manage teams comprehensively, with permissions to create, edit, and delete teams, and assign users and providers to specific teams.

You can also designate internal staff members as team managers or viewers, allowing them view and/or edit access to their assigned teams and the Teams Management UI according to the following rules: Additionally, Admins have organization-wide access to manage all teams and assign roles, while Auditors, with read-only permissions, can monitor teams without modifications.

  • Team managers can view, edit, and request services on behalf of providers within their assigned teams.

  • Team viewers can only view providers within their assigned teams.

  • Team managers and viewers receive platform notifications and emails only for the providers that they manage.

  • Only admins and team managers can access the Teams Management UI. Team viewers cannot access the UI. - Team viewers can leave notes for their assigned teams, in addition to viewing provider data.

  • Each team manager can view the teams they manage in the Teams Management UI, but they cannot create, edit, or delete teams.

  • Admins can view, create, edit, and delete all teams in the Teams Management UI. - Admins also have the ability to assign roles to team managers and viewers, ensuring structured team management.
