Automated License Expiration Monitoring

What is License Expiration Monitoring (LEM)?

LEM is a way to ensure your providers' licenses (state, DEA, and CSR) are monitored and kept up to date within the Medallion platform. This allows you to use the Medallion platform as a source of truth for license data, relying on it to understand which providers are appropriately licensed.

Note: LEM is included in the Ongoing Monitoring Advanced tier.

The Updated Solution

We've revamped LEM from the ground up, introducing a few new core components that help provide more transparency into monitoring, more accurate monitoring, and faster monitoring via automation.

Automated LEM Renewal Checks:

We have integrated our vast automated state license coverage into the LEM workflow. Now, when a license covered by our automation enters the LEM queue near expiration, the Medallion system will automatically check whether it has been renewed via the state board. If it hasn't, the system will mark it as such. If it has, the system will automatically mark it renewed, create a primary source verification, and update the license expiration date!

Through LEM, licenses are verified at multiple points:

  • Licenses are verified when they're added or updated on the platform

  • They're also monitored weekly for renewal starting two weeks before expiration until one-week post-expiration

โ€‹Client-facing LEM Modal:

We've added a new modal on the Existing Licenses page, enabling you to track all the details of your license monitoring. Clicking a license expiration date will now reveal a modal that tracks each LEM / license expiration date update, along with a note on who made the update (ex: specialist, admin, Medallion platform).
