It can be challenging for providers to make time to visit a notary, so we have partnered with Proof to provide an eNotary option designed to simplify the notary process when possible.
With Proof, providers can complete most notarial tasks quickly and efficiently, without ever leaving their workplace.
Using eNotary within Medallion Tasks
⚠️ Note: Not all state boards will accept eNotaries, so Medallion will indicate whether or not the task is eligible for eNotary utilization.
Within the Medallion task, there will be a button to "eNotarize" that will take you to the eNotary partner's site.
Click the blue eNotarize button to launch the notary application
On Proof's site, you will be asked to enter your name as it appears on your ID
Review and complete any necessary fields in the document before meeting with the notary, when ready, click continue
Enter your address and click continue
Verify your identity and click continue
Now you will be connected with the next available notary on a video call. Click Join now when ready
Once the notarization is complete, the completed document will automatically post to the task, and the task will be marked complete.

Notary Fees:
As with traditional notaries, providers will need to cover the fee directly - Medallion is unable to reimburse for these fees.
The cost is $25 for the on-demand session (includes 1 notary seal) and $5 per additional notary seal if multiple are done in the session.
