About this update
Group officials can now include an ownership percentage on their profile. This field is optional for most officials, but it's required for anyone tagged as a "5% or Greater Direct/Indirect Owner."
Why we added this
Certain government payers, including Medicare and Medicaid, require ownership percentage as part of provider enrollment. Capturing this information upfront lets us automatically populate it into the relevant enrollment forms later, so you won't need to track it down when a payer asks for it.
Where you'll see it
This appears anywhere you manage Group Officials on a group profile:
When you add or edit a group official, you'll see a new Ownership percentage field alongside their other details.
The Group Officials table now includes an Ownership % column, so you can see every official's percentage at a glance.
Who needs to complete it
Ownership percentage is required for any official whose Official Type includes 5% or Greater Direct/Indirect Owner. It's optional for all other official types.
When this applies
You may be asked to add this information the next time you add or update Group Officials on an enrollment application that's in progress and hasn't been submitted yet.
